    outcasts.
 fleeing
    by moonlight
                                    hiding
                                        in shadows
                                     evading
                                        enemy eyes
                                     escaping
                                anonymous gunfire
                                                     frantic   bleeding   
        frightened   torn.
                                                      snagged
                                                             in barbed wire
                                                                  accosted
                                                                          by
        footsteps
                                                      bitten
                                                             by humankind
                                                                  assailed
                                                                           by
        brothers
                                                                    mocked
                                                                           by
        sisters
                                           tormented   weeping   trembling  
              lost.
